The Bone Builder program is a customized 45-minute, one-on-one active exercise program with regulated healthcare providers. Participants attend once or twice per week and are assigned home-based exercises to continue in the comfort of their home.

Each session includes:

  • Weight-bearing exercises: To help stimulate bone formation by making the bones work to support the body’s weight.
  • Strength training: Resistance (weights, resistance bands, or bodyweight) helps strengthen muscles and bones, and improve posture.
  • Balance and flexibility training: To help improve coordination, balance, and prevent falls.
  • Posture improvement exercises: Strengthening the back and core muscles helps prevent posture problems and reduces the risk of spinal fractures.

  • Tailored to individual needs: Customized based on age, fitness level, and specific osteoporosis severity.
  • Professional supervision: To help ensure proper technique is followed.
